About the Show

Welcome to Double Entendre — Eugene’s underground comedy-meets-freestyle showdown hosted by Lexis Shardé.

Each comic will be called on stage and given three random words from the audience to freestyle into a short rap. Once finished, they’ll transition into their regular stand-up material, with the option to incorporate musical comedy or DJ cues into their set.

At the end of the night, the comic with the biggest audience reaction will face off against the returning champion in a final freestyle battle, using five random audience words. The winner takes the crown 👑 and is invited back next month to defend their title.

Compensation & Perks

💰 Comedians are compensated a percentage of ticket sales.

Percentages will be disclosed in the booking confirmation email.

Additional Tips are collected.

🍕 Pegasus Pizza provides one complimentary slice and one drink per performer.

🎟️ There are no comped guest tickets for this show, but performers may request a Friends & Family discount code for their guests.

By submitting this form, you agree that:

• You’ve read and understand the show’s compensation and performance policies.

• You understand that submitting does not guarantee a spot — we will contact selected performers directly.

• If selected:

  • You will arrive by 7:30 PM on show night.

  • You will be professional and respectful to the host, DJ, audience, venue, staff and other performers.

  • You may be required to submit a W-9 upon receipt of payment.
